Hiroyuki Hirai

Research Assistant Professor of Pediatrics

Dr. Hirai joined Northwestern University in July 2018 from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Dr. Hirai completed his postdoctoral training in Molecular pharmacology at Northwestern University, Chicago and Stem cell biology at University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.

Jerome C Lane

Associate Professor of Pediatrics (Nephrology)

–Dr. Jerome Lane is an attending physician in Pediatric Nephrology at Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He earned a B.A. in Classics and Biology from Brandeis University in 1987, and his M.D. degree from the New York University School of Medicine in 1991. Dr. Lane completed his residency in Pediatrics at NYU Medical Center/Bellevue Hospital in 1994, and his fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Hospital in 1997

Ann-Marie T Tantoco

Instructor of Medicine (Hospital Medicine) and Pediatrics

Dr. Ann-Marie Tantoco is a med-peds hospitalist in Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.

Batul Kaj-Carbaidwala

Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition)

I am a board certified pediatric gastroenterologist with advanced training in intestinal rehabilitation, hepatology and transplant, and my clinical activities are divided across these areas. I work with wonderful colleagues in the Lurie Intestinal Rehab and Transplant Program, who provide coordinated, multidisciplinary care to patients with short gut syndrome and associated disorders, including those that require bowel transplantation. Jessica E Pryor

Instructor of Pediatrics (Hospital-Based Medicine)

As an academic hospital-based pediatrician, Dr. Pryor's clinical interests include general inpatient pediatric medicine, newborn medicine, and caring for critically ill patients. Her academic interests include medical education and pediatric quality improvement. Lindsay R Koressel

Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Hospital-Based Medicine)

Dr. Koressel is a Pediatric Hospitalist in the Department of Pediatrics. She is board certified in Pediatrics. She currently directs the fourth year subinternship in Pediatrics for the Feinberg School of Medicine, coordinates the Pediatric Track for introduction into the 4th year of medical school, and is a core faculty member of the Pediatric KidSTAR simulation program. Dr. O'Neill specializes in the comprehensive care of children with neurodevelopmental disabilities. She completed her undergraduate degree in psychology and pre-professional studies at the University of Notre Dame, her medical school degree at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, a general pediatrics residency at Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago, and a neurodevelopmental disabilities combined residency/fellowship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. I am a pediatric infectious diseases physician-scientist and Medical Director of Infection Prevention and Control. My research interests are in the areas of healthcare epidemiology and infection prevention and control, with a focus on healthcare-associated infections and infections caused by emerging high-consequence pathogens.
