Research Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplantation)

Dr. Hashizume's primary research interests in understanding of the molecular mechanisms, that affect the aggressive/ invasive biological behavior of pediatric malignant glioma and would accordingly reveal potential therapeutic targets for glioma therapy.

Priya S Verghese

Professor of Pediatrics (Nephrology)

Priya Verghese, MBBS (MD), MPH is a pediatric nephrologist with Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital. Having been born and brought up in the United States, she moved to India at the impressionable age of ten and eventually secured admission into one of India’s top five medical colleges. Uchenna C Ewulonu

Instructor of Pediatrics (Hospital-Based Medicine)

Uchenna Ewulonu is a pediatrician in the department of Pediatrics, Hospital-Based Medicine. She works at both Lurie Children's Hospital, Prentice Women's Hospital and Central Dupage Hospital. She enjoys caring for children of all ages, from neonates to adolescents.

Shayna Hibbs

Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Neonatology)

Dr. Hibbs has a research interest in perinatal epidemiology, particularly in understanding social determinants of racial and ethnic disparities in birth outcomes. Dr. Hibbs also has an academic focus in medical education.

Jennifer L Reichek

Associate Professor of Pediatrics (Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplantation)

As a former social worker turned physician, I am acutely aware of the way in which the psycho-social atmosphere contributes to the treatment of cancer in children, adolescents, and young adults. As a physician, I try to incorporate that view into my treatment of young people with cancer.

Dr. Cynthia Castiglioni completed her undergraduate education at the University of Notre Dame and received her medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh.
