Deepa R Nair

Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Emergency Medicine)

My primary interests involve medical student & resident education, care of the acutely ill child & parental education on health maintenance for their children, preventative medicine, and child safety/injury prevention.

Ann-Marie T Tantoco

Instructor of Medicine (Hospital Medicine) and Pediatrics

Dr. Ann-Marie Tantoco is a med-peds hospitalist in Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.

Rebecca Stephen

Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Hospital-Based Medicine)

Rebecca Stephen, MD, MS is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Ann & Robert H Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. She leads Quality and Safety initiatives, including serving as the institutional physician lead for the national collaborative Improving Pediatric Sepsis Outcomes.  She also serves as a Quality Improvement Specialist for Telehealth Programs and is a member of the Center for Quality and Safety at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.

Professor of Radiology (Pediatric Radiology) and Pediatrics

My primary clinical interest lies in pediatric CT and MR imaging, with a specialty expertise and research focus in pediatric cardiovascular imaging.

Theresa Moulton

Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences and Pediatrics

Dr. Sukal-Moulton is a faculty member with a primary appointment in the Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences Department, where she teaches in the Lifespan, Treatment of Patients with Neurological Dysfunction, Complex Patients, and Electrophysical Agents curriculum, with a focus on pediatrics. 

Rukhmi Bhat

Associate Professor of Pediatrics (Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplantation)

Bio I am a Pediatric Hematologist with an academic focus and clinical expertise in Thrombosis and Hemostasis and Neonatal Hematology. I am passionate about understanding the role of the developing hemostatic system and it's impact on  neonatal thrombosis, the interaction of clinical and acquired risk factors in thrombus development and developing risk stratification models to predict thrombosis. Colin E Evans

Research Assistant Professor of Pediatrics

Dr. Evans received a BSc in Exercise Sciences from the University of Birmingham (1st class honors, 2003-2006). His PhD studies on thrombus resolution were funded by the British Heart Foundation at King’s College London (pass without corrections, 2007-2010). During his postdoctoral training at the University of Cambridge (2011-2015), Colin received funding from the British Heart Foundation and the British Society for Haematology, to study the impact of pulmonary thrombosis on lung tumorigenesis. William J Muller

Associate Professor of Pediatrics (Infectious Diseases)

My primary clinical interest is in infections in immunocompromised patients, including stem cell and solid organ transplant recipients. I am involved in numerous clinical trials involving vaccines, anti-infectives and diagnostics, in both the immunocompromised population and in other pediatric infections. I also study the pathogenesis of viral encephalitis, using models which focus on host-pathogen interactions in neurologic disease due to herpes simplex virus in newborns.

Mary Eileen McBride

Associate Professor of Pediatrics (Cardiology) and Medical Education

Clinically, I am a pediatric cardiac intensivist and I care for children of all ages with congenital and acquired heart disease who require critical care. Academically, I focus on medical education through the teaching and learning of students, trainees, staff and faculty. Through this work, I use simulation as my primary medium as well as small and large group didactic sessions in teaching cardiac physiology, resuscitation, communication, teamwork, feedback and coaching.
