Sarah A Taylor

Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition)

My primary interest in pediatric liver disease and liver transplantation is the immune mechanism of neonatal liver disease, in particular gestational alloimmune liver disease (GALD) and biliary atresia. Through clinical research on outcomes in GALD and laboratory research on the mechanism of disease, our group has made a significant impact that has advanced the care of infants and mothers affected by GALD. Emily CZ Roben

Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Emergency Medicine)

Originally from Northern California; completed medical school at Northwestern University Feinberg Schoo of Medicine in 2011, then Pediatrics residency and Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Children's Memorial Hospital/Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago in 2014 and 2017, respectively.

Dana Aronson Schinasi

Associate Professor of Pediatrics (Emergency Medicine)

My primary clinical and academic interests align in the development, implementation, and assessment of telehealth and digital health programs, with the overarching goals of improving access to care for children, supporting clinicians, and reinforcing the patient-centered medical home. My additional research interests lie in medical education and simulation, specifically in using immersive simulation to train health care providers for difficult conversations encountered during clinical care.

Robert Garofalo

Professor of Pediatrics (Adolescent Medicine) and Preventive Medicine

My primary clinical and research activities relate to the care of marginalized youth populations including HIV+ and LGBT young people. Our research is largely HIV prevention in nature, mostly targeting either young men who have sex with men or transgender individuals. A new area of research and clinical interest involves working with young gender variant children and families

Sheetal R Patel

Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Cardiology)

My clinical interests include congenital heart disease and cardiac imaging including pediatric and fetal echocardiography. My specific interest include prenatal diagnosis and mangamement of congenital heart disease, managment, care of patients with single ventricle cardiac defects and Fontan palliation, as well as cardiac management of patients with Turner Syndrome. In my role as an Inteim-director of the Fetal Cardiac Program, I work closely with the Chicago Institute for Fetal Health to provide perinatal cardiology expertise. Dr. L. Nelson Sanchez-Pinto is a pediatric critical care physician, biomedical informatics specialist, and clinical data scientist. He graduated from medical school at the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2006, and then completed a Pediatrics residency program at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in 2011, and a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in 2014. Dr. MacQuarrie is a physician-scientist who specializes in pediatric solid tumors. He is involved both with the care of children with such tumors, as well as basic scientific studies relevant to understanding tumor biology.

Anthony J Mancini

Professor of Pediatrics (Dermatology) and Dermatology

Anthony J. Mancini, MD is Professor of Pediatrics and Dermatology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Head of the Division of Pediatric Dermatology at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, where he directs the division’s pediatric dermatology fellowship training program. He is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Academy of pediatrics.
